1. General betting conditions
Goldex Casino provides betting services subject to applicable Australian laws, regulatory requirements and internal controls. Betting is available only to people who are legally permitted to use the relevant service. You must provide accurate information when opening and using an account, and you must keep your login details secure. An account may be restricted, suspended or closed where identity, age, location, payment or responsible gambling checks cannot be completed, or where activity appears inconsistent with these rules.
You must use your own account and may not place bets on behalf of another person. Unless expressly allowed under a published promotion or product rule, accounts must not be shared, transferred or used by multiple people. You are responsible for checking that the selections, stakes, odds, event details and payment method shown on screen are correct before confirming a bet.
- You must meet the applicable minimum age requirement and any other eligibility requirements before betting.
- You must not place a bet while affected by alcohol, drugs, impaired judgement or pressure from another person.
- You must not use the service for unlawful activity, fraud, market manipulation or any attempt to circumvent account controls.
- You must comply with any account limits, transaction limits, product restrictions or responsible gambling settings that apply to your account.
- You should review the relevant event, market and game rules before confirming a wager.
A bet is normally treated as accepted only when it has been successfully recorded in your account and a confirmation is displayed or otherwise made available. A bet shown as pending has not necessarily been accepted or settled. If you do not receive confirmation, check your account activity before attempting to place the same bet again. Duplicate bets may be accepted if each wager is separately confirmed.
Displayed odds, prices, market information and event details are provided for guidance and may change before a bet is accepted. The odds or price applying to a wager is the one confirmed at the time of acceptance, subject to any correction or review permitted under these rules. You should not rely on a displayed price until the bet confirmation has been issued.
2. Markets, selections and bet acceptance
Available markets may include sports, racing, esports, simulated events, casino products or other betting products. Each product may have its own rules concerning eligible selections, starting times, bet types, results, dead heats, void outcomes and settlement. The rules shown with the relevant market form part of the agreement for that bet.
Checking a bet before confirmation
Before confirming a bet, check the event name, competitors or selections, market type, odds, stake, potential return, applicable fees or deductions, and any restrictions shown. It is your responsibility to ensure that the bet reflects your intention. Once accepted, a bet generally cannot be changed or cancelled at your request unless a specific rule, feature or support process allows it.
When a bet may be refused or reviewed
Goldex Casino may refuse, limit, delay or review a bet where this is necessary for security, integrity, technical, legal or responsible gambling reasons. A market may be suspended or removed without notice. This can happen before an event starts, while an event is in progress, or after an apparent result where further verification is required. Any decision will be handled in line with the applicable rules and account processes.
A bet may be voided or adjusted where it was accepted because of a clear error, including an obvious pricing error, incorrect event information, a technical fault or a market being offered after the relevant outcome was known. Where practical, the affected bet will be identified and the relevant stake or return will be dealt with under the market rules. Other selections in a multiple bet may remain subject to the applicable rules.
- A bet may be invalid if it is placed after a market has closed, unless the product rules expressly permit in-play betting.
- A market may be suspended while an event, result or account status is being checked.
- A maximum stake, maximum return or other product restriction may apply and will be shown where relevant.
- Where a bet includes incompatible selections, it may be rejected or treated according to the rules for that bet type.
- If a technical interruption occurs, the account record and transaction log may be used to determine whether a bet was accepted.
3. Results and settlement
Bets are settled using an official or otherwise appropriate result source for the relevant event or product. The result may be based on the official declaration, final score, published finishing order, game outcome or other settlement information specified in the market rules. A result can be amended if the original information was incorrect or later officially changed, where the applicable rules permit a re-settlement.
For sports and racing, the result used for settlement may not always be the same as an immediate live score, broadcast graphic or unofficial report. Abandoned, postponed, interrupted or rescheduled events are settled according to the relevant market rules. If no specific rule is displayed, the bet may be reviewed using the usual principles for that product, including whether the outcome was determined and whether the market remained materially affected.
For multi-selection bets, each selection is considered separately unless the bet type states otherwise. A void selection may be removed from a multiple bet, while the remaining selections continue under the applicable rules. Some bet types may have special provisions for dead heats, ties, shared places, non-runners, withdrawals, exotics, player participation or minimum event requirements.
Settlement disputes and corrections
If you believe a bet has been settled incorrectly, review the bet details and the applicable market rules before raising a query through the available support channel. Include enough information for the bet to be identified, such as the date, event, market and transaction reference shown in your account. Queries should be made promptly because records, event information and technical logs may not be retained indefinitely.
Where an account has been credited in error, the incorrect amount may be removed or corrected. If the amount has already been withdrawn or used, the account holder may remain responsible for the resulting balance, subject to applicable law and the relevant account terms. Goldex Casino may also delay withdrawals while a settlement, payment, identity or security review is in progress.
4. Responsible betting, security and complaints
Betting should be treated as entertainment, not as a way to make money or recover losses. Set a budget before you start and only bet what you can afford to lose. Never chase losses by increasing stakes, borrowing money or continuing to play when betting is causing stress. Take regular breaks and consider using available deposit, stake, session or activity controls where offered.
- Keep your password, device and account access secure.
- Do not allow another person to use your account or payment method.
- Check your account history and payment records regularly.
- Contact support if you notice an unfamiliar transaction, login or bet.
- Use self-exclusion or other account restriction tools if you need help taking a break.
- Seek independent support if gambling is affecting your finances, relationships, work or wellbeing.
Attempts to abuse a promotion, interfere with the service, exploit a technical issue, use stolen payment details or manipulate a market may result in bets being voided and account access being restricted. Suspicious activity may be reviewed and reported where required. You must provide reasonable cooperation with identity, payment, location, anti-fraud and responsible gambling checks.
If you have a question about a bet, first check the bet receipt, account history and market rules. If the issue is not resolved, raise it through the available Goldex Casino support channel. Complaints are reviewed using the account record, bet information, published rules and relevant transaction or technical data. You may be asked to provide further information so the matter can be assessed fairly.
These Betting Rules should be read with the Goldex Casino Terms and Conditions, Privacy Policy and responsible gambling information. If there is an inconsistency, the more specific product rule or applicable legal requirement may apply. Rules may be updated from time to time, so you should review the current version before placing a bet.
